On this episode I discuss Black people’s priorities, as it relates to spending. Do we really want to counter racism? Our collective actions suggests not. I also give thoughts on a piece I saw online in regards to Jay-Z’s relationship with his mother. This article is a rare instance in which the relationship between a Black male and a Black female, in this case mother and son, is shown in a positive light. What does our music say about how we feel about each other, about ourselves? Also, violence in the Congo has displaced over 4 million people to date. Who are the real culprits?
